How to Use Tarrago Mink Oil: 1. Clean the Leather: Before applying mink oil, it's important to clean the leather to remove any dirt or debris. Use a soft, damp cloth or a leather cleaner specifically designed for the type of leather you are treating. Gently wipe the surface to ensure it's free from any contaminants. Allow the leather to dry completely before proceeding to the next step.

1. Apply Mink Oil: Take a small amount of mink oil on a clean, lint-free cloth or a sponge applicator. Rub the oil onto the leather in circular motions, working it into the surface. Pay special attention to areas that tend to dry out, such as creases or folds. Ensure an even application but avoid over-saturating the leather.

2. Allow to Absorb: After applying the mink oil, let it sit on the leather for about 20 to 30 minutes. This allows the oil to penetrate the leather and work its way into the fibers. During this time, the leather will absorb the oil and gain back moisture and flexibility. You may notice that the leather darkens slightly due to the oil.

3. Remove Excess Oil and Buff: After the absorption time, take a clean cloth and gently wipe off any excess mink oil from the leather. This step is crucial to prevent an oily residue and to avoid attracting dirt. Once the excess oil is removed, use a clean cloth to buff the leather in gentle circular motions. This will help restore the leather's natural shine and create a smooth finish.
